Horneman, John Peter, God took home his son, John Horneman while surrounded by his loving family. John died peacefully at his home on Sunday May 27, 2012 at the age of 63. Born in Stratford, Ontario son of the late Marten (2005) & Leentje (Elaine) (Witterholt)(2002) Horneman. Beloved husband of Rita (Folkema) Horneman. Dear father of Tim Horneman, Chatham; Lisa & Henri Covemaeker, Bothwell; Dan & Kristy Horneman, Edmonton; Karen & Shane Sloan, Bothwell; Kristina & Rob Dekens, Clinton. Grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Brother of Peter & Truus Horneman, Chatham; Grace & Andy Blokzyl, Chatham; and the late Albert Horneman (2005). Brother-in-law of Wendy Horneman, Chatham. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday May 29, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Grace Christian Reformed Church, Tweedsmuir, West with Pastor Chris Schievink officiating.
