Obituary of Charles Vermet

VERMET: Charles, A resident of R.R. #2 Thamesville and formerly of Kent Bridge and Dover Township, Charles Vermet passed away on June 7, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Chatham Campus at the age of 80. Born in Dover Township, Charles is the son of the late Constant and Leonie (Missiaen) Vermet. Cherished husband of 59 years to Patricia (Harper) Vermet. Beloved father to Elizabeth Ann and Joao Manso of Chatham and Janet and Terry Vanderiviere of Chatham. Fondly remembered by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson Scott Evan Vanderiviere (2000). Charlie farmed in the Thamesville area since 1953. His love for Farmall tractors, Tim Hortons, and CB Radios will never be forgotten. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday, June 10 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
