Obituary of James 'Mighty Jim' Wonnacott

WONNACOTT: James “Mighty Jim”. A resident of Chatham, James Wonnacott died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg on Thursday June 7, 2012 at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Joannie "Cathy" (Leatherdale) Wonnacott, and cherished father of Brandyn Deketelaere of London, Seraphine Deketelaere & Ray Whaling Jr. of Chatham, and Carl Deketelaere of Chatham. Brother of George Wonnacott of Chatham, Bill Wonnacott of Chatham, Elizabeth Wonnacott-Tiffin & her husband Howard of Lighthouse Cove, and brother-in-law of Donna Wonnacott of Chatham. Jim will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was the proud owner of “Mighty Jim’s Variety” on Grand Avenue since December 8, 2000. A special thank you is extended to his many loyal customers, and to everyone at CKHA-Wallaceburg for the care and compassion shown to Jim & his family.
