SLOAN, Helen; A resident of Chatham, Helen Sloan, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2012 at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus at the age of 78. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Edgar & Margaret Harris. Cherished wife of the late Doug Sloan (1992). Loving mother to Jill (Bob) Kinny of Alberta, Grant (Christine) Sloan of Chatham, Jayne (Brad) Andrews of St. Thomas. Grandmother to Mike, Karli, Marisa, Autumn, Christopher, Tami, Tracey, and great-grandmother to Lucas, Levi, Lexi, and Annabelle. Survived by her sister Eleanor Forsyth and her husband the late Dave. Dear friend of Dorothy. Predeceased by her brothers Clayton Harris (1995), Murray Harris (1997). A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 11:00 at the Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham with the Rev. James E. Brown officiating.
