Obituary of John H. Traylor

TRAYLOR: John H. – A resident of Ridgetown, John Traylor passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family by his side on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the age of 90. Born in New Tecumseth, in the county of Simcoe, John was the son of the late Fred and Frances Ellen (Bateman) Traylor. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Maxwell) and to Elizabeth ‘Betty’ (Bennell) Traylor. Loving father of Fred Traylor (Mary Lou) and Allan Traylor, both of Chatham. Dear stepfather to Linda Clark (late Roger) and Edith Clark (Dale) both of Highgate. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Lorne Traylor (Barb) of Chatham Shirley Turner (Ken) of Ridgetown. Predeceased by his siblings Bertha Charron, Violet Vanenberg, Orial Traylor, Calvin Traylor, Enid McClung and Lloyd Traylor. Also missed by his sister-in-law Mary Traylor and many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012.
