PAXTON; Brian; It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Paxton announces that he lost his battle with cancer at his residence surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the age of 60. Born in Chatham, son of Donna (Holmes) Paxton and the late Bill Paxton. Beloved husband for 39 years to Dianne (Griffore) Paxton. Loving father to Janelle McCallum (Chad) of Chatham, Ryan Paxton (Courtney) of Chatham. Grandfather to Kolten McCallum, Olivia & Ethan Paxton. Brother to Judy Read of Chatham, Robert Paxton (Cathy) of Chatham, twin sister Bev Beausejour of Chatham, Ron Paxton (Tammie) of Chatham, Carol Heuvelmans (Leo) of Erieau, Stephen Paxton of Chatham, Rick Paxton (Joy) of Chatham, and Lynn Paxton-Batten (Ron) of Chatham. Son-in-law to Mary Griffore and the late Justin Griffore, and brother-in-law to Joe Griffore (Mary-Ann), Sue McGuire (Mike) all of Wallaceburg. He worked at Crown Cork & Seal for 38 years before his retirement even though farming was his lifelong passion. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00-4:30 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Aarssen officiating.
