Obituary of Marinus W. Van Roon

Van Roon, Marinus; A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Thamesville, Marinus Willem Van Roon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown at the age of 85. Born in Holland, son of the late Nickolas & Macheltje Van Roon. Cherished husband for 45 years to Linda Van Roon. Loving father to Evelyn Merryfield of Chatham, and Herbert Nick Van Roon of Chatham. Grandfather to Nickaella & Jessica Van Roon. Brother to Nellie Uitvlugt (the late Jim) of Ridgetown, and Mary Van Roon of Wallaceburg. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 12:30 until the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Cremated Remains Interment to follow at Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia.
