Obituary of William Hugh Jones

Jones: William Hugh “Bill” - A resident of Blenheim, Bill Jones passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday July 30, 2012 at the age of 82. Born in London, Ontario, son of the late Howard and Jessie (Brown) Jones. Dear brother of Bernice & Bob Brooke of London, Beatrice & Larry Uyl of Hensell, Charles Jones of Hamilton and the late Jeanette, Helen, Elizabeth, Albert, Ross and Kenneth. Bill was a long time resident of Blenheim. He was an enthusiastic supporter of activities in the community and particularly loved his association with the Legion where he was a valued member. He was retired from Standard Tube and a former custodian of the Legion. Friends are invited to a time of visitation at the McKinlay Funeral Home 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. A Legion Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon. Cremation to follow and interment in the family plot in the Dorchester Cemetery will take place at a later date.
