Obituary of Leona Wytinck

WYTINCK: Leona Martha Elodie. A resident of Chatham and formerly of R.R.#7 Blenheim, Leona Wytinck passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, August 13, 2012 at the age of 83. Born on the 14th Concession, Raleigh Township, daughter of the late Remi and Marie (DeVolder) Casier. Beloved wife of August (Gus) Wytinck for 59 years. Dear mother of Joanne Wytinck of Chatham. Sister of the late Elvira Van Kerkhoven (Joseph), Marcel Casier (Julianna), Rachel Ramboer (Tony), Julian Casier, and George Casier. Sister-in-law of Adrienne Casier of R.R.#2 Blenheim, and Jean Casier of R.R.#4 Thamesville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Leona was the last surviving member of the Casier Family. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Blenheim, and C.W.L. for 46 years. She farmed all of her life with her husband in Harwich Township. Family and friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Hall, 94 George Street, Blenheim on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Stephen Van Massenhoven officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or St. Mary's Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
