Obituary of Verlyn Aileen Hall

HALL: Verlyn. A resident of Chatham, Verlyn Aileen Hall died peacefully at Copper Terrace on Thursday August 23, 2012. Born in Chatham, 88 years ago, daughter of the late Russell and Ethel (Moore) Birkby. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Hall (1999). Loving mother of Richard & Patricia Hall of Sault Ste. Marie, Cheryl & Allan Lewis of Lighthouse Cove, Robert Hall of Chatham, and Larry & Claire Hall of Winnipeg. Cherished grandmother of Richard Hall, Michael Hall, Jason & Gabriella Lewis, Jamie & Melina Lewis, Jeff Hall, Kim & Darren Roe, Tina Hall, Bridget Hall, and Trevor Hall. Verlyn will be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Donald and Wilfred Birkby. Verlyn was an accomplished seamstress, and did alterations and repairs for many years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday August 26, 2012 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday August 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Pat Pickle, Chaplain of Copper Terrace officiating.
