Obituary of Garnet F. Hebblethwaite

HEBBLETHWAITE: Garnet F. – A resident of R.R. # 4 Blenheim, Garnet Hebblethwaite passed away peacefully in the home he was born in on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 84. Born in Blenheim, Garnet was the son of Del and Mary Hebblethwaite. Beloved husband of 64 years to Betty Hebblethwaite. Survived by three daughters, Linda and Don Knox of R.R. # 3 Ingersoll, Debbie and Dale Labute of R.R. # 1 Morpeth, Susan Hebblethwaite of Blenheim and one son Tom and Susan Hebblethwaite of R.R. # 4 Blenheim. Proud grampa and pa of Joel (Jen), Jocelyn (Dave), Justine (Coulson); Michael (Becky), Sarah (Doug); Tammy, Amanda (Scott), Lauren, Matthew; Jennifer (Scott), Karen (Jake) and David. Great-grampa of Liam, Arden, Ryan; Alex, Hailey, Sophie; Emmett and Audrey. Predeceased by grandson Gregory Knox and brother Bruce Hebblethwaite. Brother-in-law to Isabel and Doug Brown, Molly Meloche and Dorothy Perrideau. Hebb was a farmer his entire life. He loved his family, farming and his community. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Monday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 with Rev. Doug Rowley and Pastor George Ewald officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
