Obituary of Gladys Mildred Leach

LEACH: Gladys Mildred (nee Carr) - A resident of Blenheim, Gladys Leach passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at the age of 88. Born in Rodney, Gladys was the daughter of the late Percy and Mary (Charlton) Carr. Beloved wife of the late Garnet M. Leach (1994). Loving mother of Pat Brown (Murray) of Merlin, Jim Leach (Annette) of Tecumseh, Bob Leach (Jo) of Chatham, Fred Leach (Janet) of Blenheim, Deb Galbraith (Ed) of St. Thomas, Dave Leach (Ann) of Blenheim, Peggy McDonald (Gary) of Chatham, Sandy Nichol (Pete) of Blenheim and Steve Leach (Lorie) of Ridgetown. Proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and great-grandmother to several great-grandchildren. Gladys was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters. She is missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Gladys to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
