Obituary of Ronald H. Butterfield

BUTTERFIELD, Ronald H.: A resident of Chatham, Ronald H. Butterfield, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the age of 73. Born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, the only son of Frederick (2006) & Margaret (1989) Butterfield. Loving husband of 46 years to Valerie (Graff) Butterfield. Cherished father to Fred Butterfield of Chatham, Anna-Lee Edmondson (Jeff) of Chatham. Grandfather to Shawna Edmondson and Tyler Edmondson. Brother-in-law to Linda Graff. Ronald will be missed by nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ronald retired from the Ontario Provincial Police Force in 1994 after 32 years of service, he was a member of the first OPP dive team, and loved the outdoors. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ronald Butterfield to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
