Obituary of John B. Lather

LATHER: John B. - A resident of Chatham, John Lather passed away peacefully at St. Andrew’s Residence on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 89. Born in Orford Township, John was the son of the late John and Edith (Clarke) Lather. Beloved husband of Gladys Lather (nee Grainger). Dear father to Lois VanSlyck (Jim) of Waterloo, Doug Lather of Chatham and Lynn Adkins (David) of Toronto. Proud grandfather of Kim Heyninck (Jason) of Chatham, Lee Lather (Danielle) of Chatham, Lauren Adkins of St. Catharines and Steven Adkins of Toronto. Great-grandfather to Emily and Rachael Heyninck and Liam and Mya Lather. Predeceased by his brothers Fred, Donald and Archie. John worked at International Harvester for nearly 20 years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
