Obituary of Chuck Gownlock

GOWNLOCK: Chuck – A resident of Scarborough, and formerly of Ridgetown and Blenheim, Chuck Gownlock went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 62. Born in Chatham, Chuck was the son of the late Harold and Betty Gownlock and the late Don and Evelyn Wightman. Loving father to Kathy Royes (Keith) of Ridgetown and Derek Gownlock of Hamilton. Proud grandfather of Hayley and Parker Grooms and Abbey Royes. Dear brother to Ethel and George Evans of Ridgetown, Wendy and Clifford Lodge of Bothwell, Vicky and Joe Cottrell of Linden, Alberta, Joanne and Rob VanAlphen of R.R. # 2 Merlin, Rick and Johanna Wightman of Blenheim, Penny and Rick Croteau of Chatham, Tony and Sherry Wightman of Blenheim and Robert Wightman of Morpeth. Predeceased by his sister Robin Oakes (2009). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and his church family. Chuck was an Assistant Pastor at a church in Scarborough before becoming an active member of Global Kingdom Ministries. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00p.m.on Monday, October 29, 2012.
