Obituary of Marie Alice Snobelen

Snobelen, Marie Alice, a life-long resident of Chatham & Harwich Township. Marie Snobelen passed away peacefully on Sunday October 28, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 91. Born in Sherkston, Ontario, daughter of the late Raymond & Helen (Hendricks) Fretz. Beloved wife of the late Austin Ross (1950) and the late Robert (Bob) Maxwell Snobelen (2010). Loving mother of Linda Henderson & her husband Bill; Jane Lundy & her husband Jim and Dan Snobelen & his wife Nancy all of Chatham. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Helen Cofell and Lloyd Fretz. Sister-in-law of the late Garland Cofell, and Alice Fretz,. Marie was a member of St. Paul’s United Church, the St. Paul’s U.C.W., and a former Sunday School Teacher. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday October 30, 2012 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
