Obituary of David Bruce Round

ROUND: David Bruce “Krazy Leggs”. David Round passed away peacefully at his residence in Erieau on October 30, 2012. He was born on November 20, 1954 to parents Herbert “Daniel” (1995) and Loretta “Pearl” (Johnson) (2000). Beloved husband of the late Bonnie (Fields) (2004). Loving father of Chrissy (Wade) Little of Woodstock, and Andy Round of Erieau. Proud grandfather of Kayla Little. Dear brother of Douglas of Point Edward, B.C., Duane (Carol), of Parksville, B.C., Dean (Darline) of Hankinson, North Dakota, Donna (Doug) Fields of Blenheim, Barbara (Fred) Heintz of Erieau, Linda (Allan) Heyninck of Chatham, Patricia (Irvin) Dyck of Kelowna, BC, Marjory (David) Trotechaud of Blenheim, Debbie (Doug) Toland of Blenheim, and Doreen (Gord) Magee of Windsor. Brother-in-law of Bert and Edward Fields. Predeceased by brothers Danny (1995), Daryl (2006) and his mother and father-in-law Bert and Marie Fields. David is survived by many nieces and nephews, and his dog Tigger. He was a life-long commercial fisherman in Erieau and a great, dependable friend to many. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Saturday November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date. Memorial donations to the Erieau Firefighters Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation are appreciated.
