Obituary of Toshiyuki 'Tash' Moriyama

MORIYAMA Toshiyuki “Tash”. A resident of Chatham, and formerly of London, Toshiyuki Moriyama died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the age of 96. Born in Pasley Island, British Columbia, son of the late Toyoki & Haruko (Yaota) Moriyama. Beloved husband of Sakiko Jean (Hattori) Moriyama for 68 years. Loving father of Margaret Moriyama of Chatham, Robert John Moriyama of Toronto, and Thomas Moriyama of Guelph. Dear brother of Fumiko Tamagi of Alberta, and the late Midori Okuma, Nawo, Kiyo, Momoyo, and Haruo Moriyama. Fondly remembered by in-laws Kay Moriyama, Betty Moriyama, Tom & Joyce Hattori, Yosh & Lois Hattori, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his niece Kate & her husband Harry Nagata for their visits and care. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday December 6, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
