Almeida, Candida Soeiro, a resident of Chatham and formerly Portugal. Candida Almeida passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Thursday December 20, 2012 at the age of 99. Born in Felgueiras, Portugal daughter of the late Antonio & Teresa (Prazeres) Soeiro. Beloved wife of the late Jose Pereira Almeida (1990). Dear mother of Teresa & Tony Trigo, Chatham; Acacio & Maria Almeida, Chatham; and the late Antonio. Grandmother of grandchildren, Acacio; Carlos; Victor; Helen; Tony & Celia; great-grandchildren, Dave; Elizabeth; Joe; Felicia; Ezequiel; William; Benjamin; Lydia & great great-grandchildren Makala & Mateo. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday December 23, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursulas Catholic Church, Chatham on Monday December 24, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr.
