Obituary of William John 'Bill' Dye

DYE: William John “Bill” – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Campus in Chatham. Bill was born 71 years ago in Chatham to the late William Dye and the former Gladys LaMarsh. Survived by his loving wife, the former Sharon Ward. Loved father of Michael and Maria Zeinstra-Dye of Waterloo and Stephen and Nancy Aldridge of Vancouver, British Columbia. Proud Poppa of Kate, Peter and Christopher of Waterloo. Survived by sister Marlene Pelletier of Chatham and brother Robert and Noreen of Ridgetown. Brother-in-law to Don Ward, Bill and Linda Ward, Stacie and Doug Beaton and George and Nancy Foulis. Bill held managerial positions in several corporations in the automotive industry. He was a long-time member of St. Mary’s Parish, and an honourary member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7744. Bill’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Donations made in memory of Bill to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
