DICKSON, Dennis A.: A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Chatham and Orford Township, Dennis A. Dickson, passed away at the Village on the Ridge Nursing Home on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Margaret B. Dickson (nee Simpson). Loving father to Bob & Cheryl Dickson of RR#1 Morpeth, Anne & Jim Sifton of Dartmouth, NS, Paul & Karen Dickson of Stoney Pointe, ON. Grandfather to Gerod & Leslie Dickson of Belle River, William & Elisa MacMillan of Ridgetown, Rob Sifton & Leah Scott of Calgary, Heather & Strahan McCarten of Toronto, Cory Dickson of Chatham, Calie Dickson & Jake Myers of Windsor, Amy Larsen of Stoney Pointe, Jason & Lacie Beutler of Windsor, and great-grandfather to 11. Predeceased by his brother Allan S. Dickson, sister Margaret Fenton, and infant brother Donald. Dennis was born and raised on the family farm in Orford Township and worked the land there until he and Marg retired in 1995, moving to Chatham. He was a long time member of Highgate and Sprucedale United Churches, the Star Of The East No 422, Bothwell, and Ahcom Shrine Club. Family to receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Masonic Lodge Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
