Dewael, Gordon Edward, a resident of Chatham. Gordon (Gord) E. Dewael died suddenly on Friday January 4, 2013 at the age of 62. Born in Chatham, son of the late John Peter & Helen (Zemnicky) Dewael. Husband of Judi (Lapp) Dewael of Pain Court. Dear father of Jeff & Shelly Dewael, Chatham and Jenn Dewael, Pain Court. Grandfather of Kyrstyn Dewael; Rebecca & Zachary Dewael. Brother of Carol & Dan Toth, Chatham; Linda & Ric Dorner, Chatham; Betty & Brian Tulp, Chatham; Sue & Don Morrison, West Lorne and the late John Douglas & Robbie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Gord’s best friends were his canine buddies Jake and the late Max.. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow with a private family service at a later date.
