Born in Zarren, West Flanders, Belgium on February 25, 1912, son of the late Alois and Adonie (Deruytter) Havens. Predeceased by his wife Doris (2010). Dear father of Mary Anne Stennett of Acton, Ron and Jane Havens of Chatham, Ken and Julie Havens of Collingwood, and Wayne and Helen Havens of Chatham. Step-father of Judy and Clarence Williford, Cindy and Mike Kennedy, and Sherry and Peter Havens. Grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 16. Predeceased by 1 sister, 2 brothers, and his former wife Godelieve. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
