Obituary of Gil Lambert

LAMBERT: Gil. A resident of Chatham, Gil Lambert passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 63. Born in Melbourne, son of the late Murray and Geta (Waring) Lambert. Beloved husband of Marg (Hogberg) Lambert. Dear father of Natalie Lambert and her husband Adam Rathwell of Toronto. Grandfather of Everett and Dallas. Brother of Stephen Lambert and his wife Saxon of Burlington, and Brad Lambert and his wife Cathy of Burlington. Brother-in-law of Jo Ann Hogberg of Toronto. Uncle of Tyler Lambert of Burlington, Matthew (Jenna), and Chris Lambert of Vancouver. Great-uncle of Billie-Rose. Also survived by aunt Bernice Campbell and several cousins. Gil retired following over 30 years of service with Brewers Retail. He was a longtime member of the Kent Club and Maple City Golf & Country Club. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Gil's Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
