RENDERS: Frank. A resident of Chatham, Frank Renders died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday February 20, 2013. He was born in The Netherlands, 100 years ago on January 22, 1913, and immigrated to the Chatham area in 1951. Beloved husband of 69 years to Maria Renders (née Matheeuwsen). Loving father of Jack & Laura Renders, Port Lambton; Henry & Margaret Renders, Chatham; Elma Renders, Chatham; Gerry & Luanne Renders, Chatham; Maria & Kim Dahl, Vancouver; Maggie & Pat Downey, Erieau; and the late Frank Renders Jr. (2000). Cherished grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 17. Frank was the last surviving member of his family, predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers offered at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ursula’s Roman Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Avenue West, on Friday February 22, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
