Obituary of Andrew Allan Everitt

Everitt, Andrew Allan, a resident of Belle River and formerly Chatham. Andy Everitt passed away suddenly on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor at the age of 72. Born in Chatham, son of the late Andrew Naismith & Edna Marie (Mitton) Everitt. Beloved husband for 50 years to Brenda (Watts) Everitt. Dear father of Angelique Everitt, Ottawa; Allana Everitt-deJonge & Ron deJonge, Belle River; and Alexis Everitt-Wells & Dan Wells, Belle River. Andy will be missed by grandchildren Naismith, Broderick, Sawyer, Emerson, Anson and Imogen. Brother of Lynn & Bill Rion, Akron, Ohio; Virginia Stevenson, Charing Cross; Sandra Swayze-Keenan & Larry Keenan, Dealtown; and Bradley & Annette Everitt, Thamesville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham, on Tuesday February 26, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, Chatham on Wednesday February 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mary Templer officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown. Donations in memory of Andy to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
