Obituary of Charles Goodreau

GOODREAU: Charles - In memory of Charles Robert Goodreau January 30, 1931 – March 29, 2013. A resident of Ridgetown, Charles passed away peacefully in his 83rd year at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown. He was the husband of the late Margaret Irene McEachran, brother of the late Vivian Doyle and the late John Goodreau, father of Jim (Edy) Blenheim, Mary Margaret (Rob McKinlay) Morpeth and David (Marybeth) Toronto. He will be missed by his grandchildren Jim, Lochlan, Liam and Alexandra. Brother-in-law of Mary McEachran, Jim and Veronica McEachran, Lloyd and Ruth LeGrow, Don and Jean Stewart, Don and Katie Sifton. Charles was a member of the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church Ridgetown and Howard Lodge No.391. He was a Florida snowbird, retiring to Ridgetown after a full career farming near Mull. He will be held dear by all of his extended family and friends, and forever in our hearts and memories. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. A Masonic Lodge Service will be held on Thursday at 1:30p.m. Private family interment in Botany Cemetery at a later date.
