Obituary of Gordon David Baillargeon

BAILLARGEON: Gordon David – A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of LaSalle and Erieau, Gordon Baillargeon passed away at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the age of 67. Born in St. Clair Beach, Gordon was the son of the Joseph and Ethelyn (Marino) Baillargeon. Beloved husband of Diana (Kettlewell) and the late Agnes (Diesbourg) (1999). Loving father of Christopher Baillargeon of Windsor. Dear step-father to Christian Gibbons (Brenda) of Cottam and Shannon Gibbons (Mike Matte) of Amherstberg. Very proud grandfather of Cyle and Tyler Gibbons, Matthew Hamilton, Logan “The Logan Guy” Matte and Pardis Baillargeon. Known as Pepe B by several acquired grandchildren. Brother to Ken Baillargeon (Claire) of Belle River and Marg Bogden of Windsor. Predeceased by his siblings, Rita Seguin, Robert Baillargeon and Shirley Baillargeon. Also missed by family, friends, several nieces and nephews and extended family. Gordon enjoyed working at the Windsor Raceway for 35 years. He was also a member the Kent Coin Club. A Memorial Service will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 1185 Hwy 3, Windsor at 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 with Rev. Bill Terris officiating.
