Obituary of Jerry Joseph Zoula

ZOULA: Jerry Joseph, Sr. - A resident of Palmyra, Jerry Zoula passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the age of 91. Son of the late František and Maria (Barkova) Zoula. Beloved husband of 59 years to the late Frances (nee Mahdal) (2011). Loving father of Peter and Elaine Zoula, Paul and Pat Zoula, Gloria and Jeff Harvey, Jerry Zoula Jr., Frank Zoula, Ed Zoula and Christine Zoula. Proud and loving grandfather to Lee and Rose Zoula, Matt and Emily Hodge, Paul and Jennifer Zoula and Stephen Zoula. Great-grandfather to Maximus Zoula and Mason Hodge. Predeceased by his brother Premysl Zoula. Jerry will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Our Dad was a proud farmer, loving husband and a wonderful father who loved his family and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E. Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michaels Catholic Church 26 George St. Ridgetown on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
