Obituary of Wayne McEachran

McEACHRAN: Wayne - A resident of Blenheim, Wayne McEachran passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital with his family at his side on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the age of 74. Born in Chatham, Wayne was the son of the late Reginald and Alice (Reid) McEachran. Beloved husband of 52 years to Marion (nee Walker). Loving father to Shawn and Janice (Henderson), Myles and Janice (Stefina), Lee and Juli (Watts) and Heather and Patrick Waddick. Special uncle to Kathy West (Jerry), Karen Weaver (Jim Labadie) and Kris Jantzi (Brad). Proud grandfather of Wade, Jenna, Hannah, Emily, Erin and Connor McEachran and Alex and Chase Waddick. Dear brother to Vera Robertson, Betty Massender, Marjorie Alpaugh (Jack), Marilyn St. Pierre (Doug), Johnny Steen and Greg Steen (Diane). Predeceased by his three brothers and two sisters, Lloyd, Leonard, Fred, June Manninger and Loraine Weaver. Brother-in-law to Bernice McEachran, Rita McEachran, Joe Manninger and friends Bill Holden and Mary Ann Clarke. Predeceased by brother-in-law Robert Robertson and sister-in-law- Mary Lou McEachran. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Wayne was an employee at H.S. Pook, and worked with his brother Freddie at the body shop. Wayne retired from Navistar after 33 years of service. Wayne enjoyed keeping busy and helping others, particularly his family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Wayne to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
