Homewood, Jane Frances, a resident of Chatham. Jane Homewood passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday May 19, 2013 at the age of 74. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Royal & Mary Pearl (O’Phee) Dillon. Beloved wife of the late Richard (Dick) James Homewood (1992). Dear mother of Diana & her husband Jean Doyon, Chatham; Rick Homewood (Wendy Fysh), Ridgetown and Rob Homewood (Stephanie Allen) Chatham. Grandmother of Ryan, Danielle, Nicolas, Mike, Stephanie, Darryl & Greg. Great Grandmother of Jacob, Antonia, Lucy, Peyton,Seth and the late Alisa. Sister of Pat (Charlie) Bellamy; Joyce (Jim) Brodie; Lois (Don) Kelly; all of Chatham and the late Ruth Walker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jane was active with the Legion Ladies Auxillary, Branch 28, she enjoyed her Wednesday Night Card Club and her bowling. The Family extend a special thank you to Bayshore Homecare. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the Canadian Legion, Branch 28, St. Clair St.,Chatham on Monday May 27, 2013 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A Private Family Inurnment at Maple Leaf Cemetery to follow at a later date. Donations in memory of Jane to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
