Obituary of Jack Huffman

HUFFMAN: John (Jack) – John Jack Huffman, aged 91, passed away with his family at his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Son of Roy and Mary (McDonald) Huffman, Jack farmed all his life on the 3rd Concession in Harwich. He enjoyed many interests, especially curling and music, and was a member of the Fourth Line United Church. Most of all, though, Jack was dedicated to his family and his quiet, loving presence will be deeply missed. Husband of 53 years to Mildred (Wilson). Father to Mark (Alice) Stirling, Lisa (Chuck) Sykes and David (Laura) Huffman. Grandfather to Todd and Tracy Stirling, Shelby and James Huffman, and Rebecca and Madeline Sykes. Brother of Helen Stewart, and brother-in-law to Helen (Vaughn) Hooper, Gerald Wilson, Bert Wilson and Mary Ellen Harrison. Predeceased by in-laws John Stewart, Dorothy Wilson, Lenora Wilson and Merrill Harrison. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 with Pastor Ed Nicol officiating.
