Obituary of Martin Duprey

DUPREY: Martin – Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday, June 4th, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance in his 80th year. Born in Westville, NS, Martin lived in London, ON and retired to Rondeau. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 59 years, Anne (nee Quinn) Duprey, and his children Joseph (Sharon), Louise (Peter) Kuenzig, Laverne (Bert) Phills, Gerard, Suzanne (Donald) Francis, Janine (Greg) Reaburn and Denise (Ron) Duprey. Grandchildren Curtis, James (Anastasia), Ellen, Cecilia, Shelby, Danielle, Isaac and great grandson Ashton. He is survived by his sisters Sr. Raphael and Sr. Gladys of Nova Scotia, his brother George of Florida and his brother-in-law Jack O’Leary of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his son Jerome (1979), his parents Angus and Jane (nee White) Duprey, his sister Genevieve (Babe) O’Leary and his sister-in-law Noelle Duprey. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Blenheim on Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Mariaraj Irudayam officiating. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery in London at a future date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
