Obituary of Jack Nelmes

Nelmes, Jack, a resident of Chatham. Jack Nelmes died suddenly on Thursday June 6, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 73. Born in Chatham, son of the late John Terrance & Evelyn (Pickard) Nelmes. Beloved husband for 52 years of Yvonne (Poirier) Nelmes. Dear father of Yvette Foster, Chatham. Grandfather of Jacqueline Elyse Foster of Moosonee, Ontario. Also survived by one brother & one sister and pre-deceased by 1 sister. Jack was Past President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28, Chatham, a life member and recipient of the Meritorious Service Award and a member of the R.C.A.F. for 5 years. Cremation has taken place and a Private Family Service will be conducted at a later date. Donations in memory of Jack to the O.S.P.C.A. Chatham-Kent would be appreciated.
