KNOBLAUCH: Mary Ann (nee Maynard) – A resident of Chatham, Mary Ann Knoblauch passed away at the Windsor Regional Hospital with her family at her side on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the age of 72. Born in Blenheim, Mary was the daughter of the late Oscar and Rose (Bowman) Maynard. Beloved wife of 53 years to Leo Knoblauch. Loving mother of Cindy Remington (David) of Blenheim, Patty Shea (Patrick) of North Buxton, Karl Knoblauch (Jamie) of Chatham, Allan Knoblauch (Sheila) of Blenheim, Phillip Knoblauch (Anita) of Windsor and Christopher Knoblauch (Crystal) of Chatham. Predeceased by her sons Mark Maynard (2010) and Jim Kenney(2013). Proud grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Frances Osborne and Betty Turner. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Mary worked at Campbell Soup for 19 years, completing her career as an Inspector. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 with Rev. Al McIntyre officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations made in memory of Mary to the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre – Hospice Group or the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre – Patient Assistance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
