Obituary of Isabel Cora Danforth

DANFORTH: Isabel Cora (nee Mellor) – A resident of R.R. # 5 Blenheim, Isabel Danforth passed away at the Residence on the Thames in Chatham, on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the age of 97. Daughter of Allan and Bertha (Alexander) Mellor. Beloved wife of the late Harold Warren Danforth, M.P. (1993). Loving mother of Sharon Yates (Don) of Windsor, Dianne Hogan (late Ron, 2002) of Oshawa and Denise Stroude (Dr. Eric) of Delta, B.C. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Lovella Tetzlaff of St. Thomas. Predeceased by her brothers Robert and Colin Mellor, and her sister June Blackman. Isabel had been an active member of the Blenheim United Church and the Randolph Churchill Chapter of the I.O.D.E. She was a past President and a founding member of the Leamington Kinette Club and a former member of the Blenheim Kinette Club. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2013 with Rev.
