Obituary of Barbara 'Bobbie' O'Bee

O’Bee, Barbara Evelyn, a long-time resident of Chatham. Bobbie O’Bee died suddenly on Saturday the 22nd of June, 2013 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus. Bobbie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Chatham. She was born in 1933, the fifth of ten daughters of Ruby McKibbon and Harvey Mohr of Aylmer, Quebec. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas and her sons Michael (Lorraine) and Peter (Cathy), and by her four beloved grandchildren, Kelsey, Patrick, Corey and Thomas, who brought great joy to her later years. Bobbie was predeceased by her sisters Anne (Austin Lusk), Ilene (Gary Perkins), Helen (David Farquhar), Elizabeth "Betty" (Donn Smirl), and Bertha (Doug MacLeod). She will be lovingly remembered by her surviving sisters Eunice "Tiny" (Merland Bennett), Grace (Austin Trudeau), Katherine "Kay" (Bruce Armitage), and Beulah (John Legate).The McKinlay Funeral Home in Chatham has been entrusted with arrangements. An open house will be held on Friday, June 28th from Noon with a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM to be followed by a reception.
