Obituary of Donald F. Bryant

BRYANT: Donald. A resident of Chatham, Donald F. Bryant died peacefully at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Monday July 1, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born in Toronto, son of the late Harold & Jean (Marshall) Bryant. Don and his beloved wife Janet shared 50 wonderful years together until her passing on December 9, 2012. He was a loving father to Cheryl & Jim Long of Cambridge, Linda & John Stoffyn of Chatham, and Chris & Mary Jo Bryant of Pickering. Proud grandfather of Jimmy and Conor Long, Hunter and Hannah Stoffyn, and Charlotte Bryant. Don was the last surviving member of his family, being predeceased by several siblings. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid artist, who thoroughly enjoyed sharing his work with others. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday July 4, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Donald to the Heart & Stroke Foundation are welcomed.
