Obituary of Thomas 'Tom' Hewings

HEWINGS: Thomas “Tom” – March 21, 1939 – July 20, 2013. After a brave battle with cancer, Tom was called home by his wife Caroline to the big fishing lodge in the sky. Leaving behind his son, Randy Hewings and friend Lyn, daughter Kim Mitchell and grandsons, Dalton and Owen; father Harry Hewings; brothers Bob and wife Pat, Mark and wife Sue, Lorne and wife Marilyne, John and wife Carol and his sister Caroline Paine; brother-in-law Jack Hedrick and wife Beatrice; sisters-in-law June Hedrick and Doreen Faflak and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his mother Eleanor. After one last fishing trip, he will return for his Memorial on Saturday, August the 10th at 11:00 a.m. at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim, 519-676-3451, with a reception to follow at the Blenheim Legion.
