Obituary of Barb Geroux

GEROUX, Barb A resident of Chatham, Barb Geroux, passed away at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the age of 79. Cherished wife of the late Sylvester “Sy” Geroux (1999). Mother to Pat Geroux of Chatham, Murray & Lindsey Geroux of Ottawa, and Gary & Denise Geroux of Chatham. Missed by her grandchildren Jennifer, Mark, Corey, and her great-grandchildren Aiden, Lily. Sister to the late Lorraine Polowick and her husband Alex, Ann Tedford and her husband the late Jack, Marlene Matthew and her husband the late Ed, Donald Grocott and his wife Shirley, Fred Grocott, and Jack Grocott and his wife Susan. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Barb was an extremely active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 28 where she was Sports Officer, Membership Chairman, and Legionnaire of the Year 2011. She enjoyed travelling, camping, and playing darts. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home on Monday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Legion Service will take place at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
