Obituary of Donna Marie Paxton

Paxton, Donna Marie – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Paxton at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the age of 84. Born in Sarnia, Ontario daughter of the late Clifton & Gwendolyn (Bennett) Holmes. Beloved wife of the late Harold William Paxton (2005). Dear mother of Judy Read, Bob & Kathy Paxton, Bev Beausejour, the late Brian Paxton (2012) and wife Dianne, Carol & Leo Heuvelmans, Ron & Tammie Paxton, Stephen Paxton, Rick & Joy Paxton, and Lynn Paxton-Batten & Ron Batten, and all from Chatham-Kent area. She was a proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Helen Lambert; Doreen Carr; Mildred Milliken; Harry, Kenneth, William, Robert & Marion Holmes. Sister-in-law of Doug Carr; Barbara Holmes; Mary Harwood and Donald Paxton. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was an active member in the New St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Dover. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday August 6, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Aarssen officiating. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
