Obituary of Donald Edwin Owen

OWEN: Donald Edwin - A lifelong resident of Dover Centre, Donald Owen passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the age of 61. Born in Chatham, Donald was the son of Bessie (nee Stacey) and the late Hubert Owen (2011). Dear brother to David Owen, Dennis and Nancy Owen, Jane Owen, and Jill and Brian McFadden. Proud uncle of eight and great-uncle to one great-niece. Also missed by friends and extended family. Donald was a graduate of St. Clair College where he studied accounting. He was an active member of Grace Congregational Church. Donald was a professionally competitive billiards player and was an active hunter and fisherman. He was also a proud member of NATO. He will be remembered as a loyal brother, uncle, son and friend. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2013 with Rev.
