Obituary of Ronald Laforet

Laforet, Ronald. Ronald, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2013, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 76. Beloved husband to Barb Laforet. Loving father to Lisa & Marc Purdy of Mississauga, and Dean Laforet of Vancouver. Cherished grandfather to Kyle, Rachel, Rebecca and Stefani Purdy. Predeceased by his brothers Norm, Richard and George, and survived by his sister, Claire Marie Drouin of Markham. Ronald is survived by several nieces and nephews, including his favourite niece, Laurie Hackett. Ronald dearly loved his family, enjoyed golfing and was always making people laugh. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow at a later date. In memory of Ronald, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
