Obituary of William Townsend

TOWNSEND: William Calub Ross. A life long resident of R.R. # 3 Blenheim, William Townsend passed away on the family farm on Friday October 18, 2013. He was born 79 years ago on May 21, 1934, son of the late Ross & Evelyn (Fellows) Townsend. Beloved husband of Ethel (Wild) Townsend. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara of Ottawa and Kathleen of Troy; and two sons, William & Lori, and David & his wife Kathy, all of Blenheim. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Rosemary Clarke & her husband Ken of Blenheim, and James Townsend & his wife Pam of London. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday October 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Terris and Pastor Ed Nicol officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations in memory of Bill to the Blenheim Freedom Library or a charity of one’s choice are welcome.
