Obituary of Leroy Brackett

Brackett, Leroy, a resident of Chatham. LeRoy Brackett died peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg, on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at the age of 85. Born in Guilds, Ontario, son of the late Allen & Mary (Morris) Brackett. Beloved husband of Rose E. (Barnes) Brackett. Dear father of Gail LeGroulx, Chatham; Debra Boersma (Fred), Chatham; Barry Brackett (Barb), Calgary AB.; and the late Heather Brackett (1950) & Brian Brackett (2012). Grandfather of Melissa Brackett; Jason LeGroulx; Craig LeGroulx; Mark Brackett and 12 Great Grandchildren. Brother of the late Mildred Adair; Eva VanBonn; Doreen Kyle; Percy Brackett & Donald Brackett. Also survived by sisters-in-law Bev Barnes, and Donna Barnes, both of Blenheim and several nieces and nephews. Leroy will be sadly missed by Jean Boersma; Nadja Lucyk and Bianca Seney. Leroy was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 28, Chatham. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday November 22, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday November 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
