Obituary of Renée Brenda Dye

DYE: Renée Brenda – A resident of Mississauga, Renée Dye passed away suddenly at home on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the age of 48. Renée was the daughter of Robert W. (Bob) Dye of Ridgetown Ontario and the late Noreen Eleanor Dye (nee Reimer) (September 2013). Predeceased by brother Robert (Rob) Dye (2008), and uncles Gordon Reimer, John Liski and William (Bill) Dye. Survived by nieces Kaitlyn Dye and Madison Dye and aunts Elaine Liski of Regina, Saskatchewan, Marlene Pelletier of Chatham, Ontario and Sharon Dye of Blenheim, Ontario. Renée was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, December 9, 1964, moving to Toronto in 1965, then to Mississauga in 1967 where she continued to reside until her death. In her teen years, Renée was active in Ladies Fastball and subsequently Ladies Slo-Pitch. Renée spent most of her work life at Bell Mobility in project management and training. In 2012, Renée decided to make a career change and enrolled in a Travel and Tourism program at Sheridan College in Oakville, with plans to graduate in the spring of 2014. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Erie Street United Church, 7 Erie Street North, Ridgetown from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of Renée’s life beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Judith Fayter officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate. Donations made in memory of Renée to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Erie Street United Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
