Obituary of John William 'Jack' McIntyre

McIntyre, John William, a resident of Chatham. John “Jack” McIntyre died Sunday December 8, 2013 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, son of the late William & Marjorie (Cordukes) McIntyre. Beloved husband of Lorraine (Mickle) McIntyre of Chatham. Dear father of Sandy & Barry Van Biesbrouck, Blenheim and the late Michael McIntyre (2010) . Grandfather of Josh & Dane Van Biesbrouck; Lauren (Jeremy) Dauphin & Michael. (their mother Doreen McIntyre); and James Leystra (his mother Rhona Stewart). Great Grandfather of Liam. Brother of the late Douglas McIntyre (1988) and Larry McIntyre (1998). Jack was a Veteran of WW II, and retired from Bell Canada after many years of service. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday December 10, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. A private Family Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
