Obituary of George 'Bev' Chinnick

CHINNICK, George Beverly “Bev” A resident of Chatham, Bev Chinnick, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg Campus on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 86. Born in Raleigh Township, son of the late George Patrick & Emma Leola Chinnick. Beloved husband for 63 years to Irene Chinnick (nee Campbell). Loving father to Bonnie & Miles Glasman of Russell, MB, Danny & Brenda Chinnick of Chatham, Laurie Chinnick of Kitchener, and his adopted daughter and special friend Donna Schilkie. Grandfather to Craig (Tasha) Chinnick, Grant Chinnick, Jared Glasman, Cori Chinnick, Matthew (Leanne) Glasman. Brother to Dorothy Blackburn (the late Harry), Jane Jenner (the late Robert), Delbert & Marg Chinnick. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Bev enjoyed spending time in the field on the home farm as well as fishing. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. with The Rev. James E. Brown officiating. Interment to follow in Owen Cemetery.
