KORPAN: Janette Adrienne. On Monday, January 20, 2014, Janette Korpan died peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Bothwell, 77 years ago, daughter of the late Maurice & Adrienne (Vanbesien) Verstraete. Beloved wife of William “Bill” Korpan. Loving mother of Gary & Cheryl Korpan of Chatham, Randy Korpan of Chatham, Ron & Pam Korpan of Caledonia, Ken Korpan of Campbell River, B.C., and Sharon Korpan of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Darryl, Brent, Jarod, Kelly, Lindsay, Bryan, and Kylie. Proud great grandmother of Thomas. Dear sister of Rose Vereecken (Joe) of Bothwell, Zulma Deprez (Roger) Dresden, Marie Vereecken (Antoine) of Chatham, Dianne Feys (Gilbert) of Bothwell, and the late Andre & Lena Verstraete. Janette was devoted to her family. She was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and CWL for many years. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Avenue, Chatham on Thursday January 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
