Obituary of James Howard Taylor

TAYLOR, James Howard, a resident of Chatham, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 60. Beloved husband and best friend to Paula Taylor (nee O’Neill) for 41 years. Dear son of JoAnne Taylor and the late Howard. Loving father of Melissa Opiela (Cass) of Chatham, Mike & Laura Taylor of Chatham, and the late infant Christine Taylor. Cherished papa of Emily & Kobi Opiela and future grandson of Mike & Laura. Dear brother to Judy VanderPol and the late Scott Taylor. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman who absolutely loved the outdoors. Jim treasured his grandchildren, as they were the apple of his eye. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Heather Scott officiating.
